Wish

Movie · 2023

A warm, musical adventure about 17-year-old Asha and a literal wishing star taking on a controlling sorcerer-king, made to celebrate Disney's 100th anniversary with nods to beloved classics throughout. The story is light and fun for most of its runtime, with the tension concentrated around the villain's increasingly dark magic in the final act.

A great fit for kids 6 and up; sensitive children around 5 may want a grown-up nearby for the villain's darker scenes.
