Wild Kratts
Wild Kratts is a PBS Kids animated series in which real-life zoologist brothers Chris and Martin Kratt use animal-powered creature suits to go on wildlife adventures, teaching kids about biology, habitats, and conservation along the way. This report covers the series as a whole across all aired seasons.
Great for kids around 4 and up; the most sensitive under-4s may need a grown-up nearby for villain scenes.
Episodes to know about
Each episode's story centers on a villain threatening animals or the brothers; the threat is the engine of every plot but is always resolved safely and often humorously.
Villain Gourmand is the most intense recurring antagonist, framing animals and occasionally the brothers themselves as things to be cooked or captured; tone stays cartoonish but he is more menacing than the other villains.
Predator-prey moments appear throughout the series whenever an episode features carnivorous animals; shown briefly and factually with no gore or injury detail.
