WALL-E
A sweet, nearly dialogue-free Pixar adventure about a lonely little trash-compacting robot who falls in love and ends up helping humanity find its way home. The first half is gentle and almost meditative, while the second half picks up with chases, laser blasts, and some robot peril that may startle the youngest viewers.
A great pick for most kids 5 and up; sensitive kids closer to 6 or 7 may feel more at ease with the action-heavy second half.

The opening sequence shows Earth completely buried under mountains of trash with no people; may feel bleak or lonely to very young viewers.
A massive dust storm rapidly closes in on WALL-E as he races home; tense music and fast visuals make it one of the film's more suspenseful moments.
WALL-E is caught directly beneath a descending spaceship's fire thrusters and must quickly bury himself to avoid being incinerated.
