Vida the Vet
Vida the Vet is a warm, cheerful preschool animated series following ten-year-old Vida as she diagnoses and cares for the woodland animal neighbors in her cozy town of Sweetwood. This report covers the full series across both seasons (104 episodes total), all of which share the same gentle, reassuring tone.
A great fit for toddlers and preschoolers, roughly ages 2 and up, especially kids who love animals or playing doctor.
Episodes to know about
Koa is anxious about needing a needle to remove a porcupine quill; his fear is the whole focus of the episode before resolving cheerfully, which may prompt questions from needle-wary kids.
Juno panics and runs away at the sight of a bathtub; the brief anxious moment resolves as Vida patiently uses small steps to help her feel safe.
Fergie's simply having a sad day with no specific cause, and Vida validates her feelings without pushing a quick fix. A lovely watch-together moment for talking about emotions.
