Trolls Band Together
This bright, music-packed threequel follows Poppy and Branch on a mission to rescue Branch's long-lost brother Floyd from two villains who are literally draining his life force to steal his singing talent. The film is big-hearted and fun, but a handful of adult-aimed jokes and one sustained perilous sequence make it better suited to school-age kids than toddlers.
Most comfortable for kids 6 and up; younger Trolls fans can join with a grown-up nearby for the tenser moments.

Branch's backstory is introduced, including mention that his grandmother was killed and that his brothers left him alone as a baby; good opening to talk about family and feelings afterward.
Floyd is shown trapped in a diamond cage and gradually fading; this thread runs through most of the film and builds to a near-death climax before resolution.
Climactic villain confrontation where Floyd appears to die before being revived; the most intense sequence in the film.
