Trolls

Movie · 2016

A glittery, music-packed adventure following Princess Poppy and grumpy Branch as they try to rescue their Troll friends from the Bergen kingdom. The tone is overwhelmingly upbeat and the fuzzy felt-style animation softens the danger, though the Bergen villain and a few peril scenes may startle the youngest viewers.

Most comfortable for ages 5 and up; sensitive kids around 4–5 may want a grown-up on the couch for the Bergen chase and kitchen scenes.
