Trigun Stargaze
Trigun Stargaze is a 12-episode CG-animated space-western that wraps up the story begun in Trigun Stampede, following gunslinger Vash through his final showdown with his brother Millions Knives. It carries a TV-14 rating for frequent sci-fi gunfights, deep themes of trauma and genocide, some substance use, and occasional harsh language, making it a show built squarely for older teens and adults.
Best suited for teens 14 and up who are comfortable with action-heavy anime that wrestles with serious moral and emotional weight.
Episodes to know about
Gunfights with fired weapons and characters being shot or wounded appear in nearly every episode; guns are central to nearly every action sequence.
Early episodes heavily foreground the trauma of the 'Lost July' catastrophe, in which an entire city was destroyed; the emotional weight of this event shapes Vash's state of mind and the tone of the whole series.
Episodes 7 and 8 build to an extended, intense combat sequence in which a major character is severely beaten and left at death's door by a powerful villain.
