The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea

Movie · 2000

This direct-to-video Disney sequel follows Ariel and Eric's daughter Melody, who secretly longs for the sea and is lured into danger by Morgana, a villain cut from the same cloth as Ursula. The peril is mild by most standards, but the villainess and a couple of tense underwater moments may unsettle very young or sensitive viewers.

A comfortable watch for kids aged 5 and up, especially fans of the original who are ready for a slightly spookier side character.
