The Blind Side

Movie · 2009

This PG-13 true-story sports drama follows a teenager who finds stability with a new family and goes on to play college football. It carries real warmth and positive messages, but includes mature themes, scattered strong language, drug references, and a tense scene involving a gun and a fight that make it a better fit for tweens and up.

Best suited for ages 11 and up, ideally watched together so grown-ups can discuss the heavier themes.
