Swapped
A visually gorgeous animated buddy-comedy on Netflix in which a small otter-like creature (Pookoo) and a large bird (Javan) magically swap bodies and must work together to survive — and understand each other. The empathy-forward story is warm and funny, but it carries real peril, animal deaths, and a genuinely scary fire-wolf villain that put it firmly in older-kid territory.
Great for confident viewers aged 8 and up; most 7-year-olds will be fine with a parent nearby, but the fire sequences and on-screen deaths make it a stretch for younger children.

A wolf is shown pouncing on and apparently eating smaller animals; sharp teeth and a snarling muzzle are visible before a cut to black.
Backstory is established that characters lost parents to starvation; the emotional weight lands early and colors the rest of the story.
A wolf undergoes a transformation in which his body is set on fire; he emerges as the Firewolf with glowing eyes, large teeth, and flames across his body — one of the film's most visually intense moments.
