Smurfs

Movie · 2025

This animated musical reboot sends Smurfette and No Name Smurf on a rescue mission through the real world to save Papa Smurf from a pair of evil wizards, with plenty of colorful slapstick and original songs along the way. The content is firmly in PG territory: cartoon peril and a few spooky villain scenes are the main watchpoints, and the word 'smurf' is used as a cheeky stand-in for mild swear words throughout.

Comfortable for most kids 7 and up; sensitive children under 5 may find the dark wizard imagery and chase sequences upsetting, and ages 5–6 are fine with a grown-up nearby.
