Pocahontas
A sweeping, song-filled Disney adventure about a young woman choosing her own path and brokering peace between two clashing worlds. The tone runs darker than many Disney classics, with real conflict, guns fired on screen, and a bittersweet ending rather than a tidy happily-ever-after.
Most comfortable for children 6 and up; younger kids can enjoy it with a grown-up nearby for the tenser scenes.
