MrBeast Lab
MrBeast Lab is a fast-paced 2D animated action series of 3-minute shorts in which creature heroes Panthar and Banana battle shadowy interdimensional monsters called the Shroud while trying to rescue a kidnapped Jimmy Donaldson. The action is cartoonish and largely consequence-free across most episodes, but one late episode takes a noticeably darker turn that stands out from the rest of the series.
Comfortably suits kids 7 and up who enjoy action cartoons; the show is rated TV-Y7 and most episodes are tame, though one standout episode (S1E9) involves a hero being possessed and attacking allies in a way that may startle or upset younger or more sensitive viewers.
Episodes to know about
Heroes Spike and Sprout and other Swarm characters are poisoned and transformed into zombie-like creatures; a small creature is also attacked, torn apart, and consumed by the zombie swarm.
An Ice Shroud variant introduces a more powerful enemy type that freezes and overwhelms the heroes, raising the stakes noticeably for the first time.
A Shroud-possessed version of the hero Panthar attacks and apparently destroys every other main character in the cast, including his best friend Banana; this is the darkest sequence in the series and is played seriously rather than for laughs.
