Moana 2
Moana is back on the ocean with a new crew, chasing a lost island and facing gods, sea monsters, and fierce storms in this colorful, song-filled Disney adventure. It runs a notch darker and more intense than the original, with several moments where characters appear to be seriously hurt or dead before being revealed as okay.
Most comfortable for kids 6 and up; younger fans of the first film can join with a grown-up nearby for the stormy and scary stretches.

Moana is struck by lightning inside a hut and knocked to the ground; she recovers quickly but the strike is sudden and loud.
A character shapeshifts into a swarm of bats that surround and attack Moana in a dark cave; expect startled younger kids.
The sudden rush of bats and accompanying sound burst is the film's biggest jump-scare moment.
