Minions & Monsters
The Minions land in 1920s Hollywood and accidentally unleash a parade of real monsters while trying to make a creature feature, delivering the franchise's signature slapstick chaos with a fun love-letter-to-cinema twist. The monsters look and sound genuinely scary at moments, and a spellbook conjuring plot runs throughout, so little ones who startle easily may need a lap to sit on.
Most comfortable for children 7 and up; sensitive kids may want to wait until 8 or 9.

A giant cyclops stomps through and crushes buildings in the opening sequence, roaring and causing destruction — energetic but sets the monster tone early.
A cute bunny creature is summoned and then transforms into a large, roaring red monster that breathes fire and causes mayhem — the cute-to-scary switch may catch young children off guard.
Minions set up candles and a summoning circle, chant an incantation, and green smoke and lightning produce a Cthulhu-like creature with tendrils; the ritual atmosphere is the most overtly spooky moment in the film.
