Megamind Rules!
This DreamWorks animated comedy on Peacock follows the big-headed, blue-skinned Megamind as he trades supervillainy for superhero work (and social-media fame) across 16 episodes. The humor is broad and silly, the action is consequence-free, and the show wraps every episode in a teamwork-and-second-chances message.
Great for kids who already enjoy superhero cartoons and can handle cartoon slapstick and mild peril; most comfortable from around age 6 or 7.
Episodes to know about
Megamind blows up a grocery store entrance to stop a robbery, and Dude Monkey uses martial arts on a criminal; a follow-up fight at an aquarium involves more explosions and combat, all consequence-free.
An accidental chain of events turns a kind shopkeeper into an unwilling supervillain who robs a bank; the scenario is played for laughs but involves a character acting out of control.
A cockroach is accidentally turned into a superintelligent creature that tries to take over the city with a roach army; bug-averse or younger children may find the visuals a bit creepy.
