Man vs. Baby
This four-episode Netflix Christmas miniseries follows bumbling house-sitter Trevor Bingley (Rowan Atkinson) as he juggles caring for a lost baby while looking after a luxurious London penthouse. The humour is warm, Mr. Bean-style slapstick with no bad language and no real harm ever coming to the baby — the whole series covers Season 1.
Comfortable for most school-age kids; very young or sensitive children may be startled by some slapstick chaos and peril gags.
Episodes to know about
The baby crawls near the top of a staircase and comes very close to falling before Trevor catches him; a ladder fall while hanging Christmas lights also happens in this episode.
A nativity star is dropped and shatters loudly, causing students to scream; sets the pattern of sudden crash sounds that continues through all four episodes.
Cartoonish electrocution gags, small fires, collisions, and falls involving Trevor happen across all four episodes; all are consequence-free and played for comedy.
