Madagascar

Movie · 2005

A fun, fast-paced animated comedy about four pampered zoo animals who accidentally end up on the wild island of Madagascar, with plenty of slapstick laughs and a warm friendship-first heart. A few scenes involving predators and a lion's instinct-driven chasing of friends may be briefly unsettling for the youngest viewers.

Comfortably suits most kids 5 and up; curious or confident 4-year-olds will likely enjoy it with a parent nearby for the scarier moments.
