LEGO Star Wars: Rebuild the Galaxy
This four-part Disney+ miniseries flips the Star Wars universe on its head in LEGO form, with heroes and villains swapping roles and plenty of brick-smashing action played for laughs. The Lego format keeps all combat cartoonish and consequence-free, but there is a steady stream of space battles, laser fire, and an emotionally heavier sibling storyline than families might expect from a LEGO title. Note: a sequel miniseries, 'Pieces of the Past' (2025), continues the same story and carries the same overall rating.
Ideal for Star Wars fans roughly 6 and up, especially those already comfortable with the action found in the main saga films.
Episodes to know about
Laser gunfights, lightsaber duels, and exploding spaceships recur across all four episodes; no blood or visible injury, as characters and scenery break into LEGO bricks.
The scrambled alternate galaxy is introduced here, with beloved heroes appearing as villains; may briefly confuse or unsettle young fans of the original films.
The storyline of one brother turning evil and actively opposing the hero builds steadily and carries real emotional weight; younger or sensitive viewers may find this upsetting.
