LEGO One Piece
This breezy two-part Netflix event (premiered September 29, 2026) zips through the Straw Hat Pirates' early adventures in cheerful LEGO animation, keeping the action silly and the blood completely off-screen. The bigger thing to know going in is that it's built to spark interest in the wider One Piece franchise, and the brick-built world is essentially a walking advertisement for One Piece LEGO sets.
Most comfortable for kids around 7 and up who enjoy fast-paced cartoon action; younger or more sensitive children may find the villain scenes and near-constant peril a bit much.
Episodes to know about
Buggy the Clown is introduced as the main villain; he detaches his own limbs to attack and has a menacing clown design that sensitive younger viewers may find creepy even in LEGO form.
Buggy ties Luffy and crew to a pole and throws knives at them; played for laughs (the knives cut the ropes) but the kidnapping setup may unsettle younger children.
A slow-motion multi-sword duel is shown; no blood, but one character ends the scene injured and collapsed.
