Kid Cowboy
Kid Cowboy is indeed Nickelodeon's first YouTube-original preschool animated series, premiering January 24, 2025, on the Blaze and the Monster Machines channel. These short, music-filled episodes follow Kid and his best friend Luna as they protect the futuristic world of Esperanza, weaving in Spanish vocabulary and interactive problem-solving pauses that invite little ones to think alongside the characters.
A confident fit for preschoolers ages 3 and up who enjoy catchy songs, gentle adventure, and a dash of Spanglish.
Episodes to know about
Each episode features a threat from Manny Malo (such as a giant robot chinchilla or quicksand) that Kid and Luna must outsmart; obstacles are mild and resolved quickly with clever thinking.
Villain Manny Malo disrupts the community each episode; his bad behavior is always the setup for a lesson in empathy and problem-solving, never rewarded.
Manny Malo uses a comedic ray gun as part of his schemes (for example to enlarge a chinchilla); no one is harmed and resolutions are non-violent. No real firearms appear.
