Karate Kid: Legends
This PG-13 legacy sequel brings kung fu prodigy Li Fong to New York City, where he teams up with Mr. Han and Daniel LaRusso to compete in a citywide karate tournament. The heart is warm and the themes are classic Karate Kid, but frequent martial arts fights, a knife stabbing, a character being knocked unconscious, and mild profanity keep it firmly in older-kid territory.
Confident tweens and teens who enjoy sports action movies; most comfortable for ages 10 and up, with parental guidance for sensitive kids in that range.
