How to Train Your Dragon

Movie · 2010

A clever, kind-hearted Viking teen befriends a wounded dragon and slowly changes his whole village's understanding of their ancient enemy. The story is warm and funny at its core, but the action sequences and a consequential injury at the end bring a real emotional weight.

Confident viewers around age 6 and up will get the most from it, though sensitive 5-year-olds may find the opening raid and the climax a lot.
