Hotel Transylvania 2

Movie · 2015

This animated sequel follows Dracula trying to bring out his half-vampire grandson's monster side, with plenty of slapstick humor and a warm message about family and acceptance. The scares are mostly played for laughs, but they do ramp up toward the climax with a more intense action sequence involving large demon bats.

Most comfortable for children around 6 and up, with younger or more sensitive kids better watched alongside a grown-up.
