Hoppers
Hoppers is Pixar's 30th feature, a warm-hearted sci-fi comedy in which 19-year-old Mabel transfers her consciousness into a robotic beaver to save a wildlife glade from a highway. It earns its PG rating with a genuinely intense climax, a creepy unmasking scene, and some predator-and-prey humor, but the rest of the film is funny, big-hearted, and environmentally uplifting.
Most comfortable for ages 7 and up; sensitive kids under 7 will likely need a parent nearby for the final act.

Young Mabel stuffs classroom pets into her backpack to free them, accidentally triggers the fire sprinkler, and bites a teacher's arm when he tries to stop her; played as broad comedy.
Mabel's grandmother passes away off-screen; her death is referenced gently but recurs as an emotional touchstone throughout the story.
A lovely, quiet scene where the grandmother invites Mabel to simply stop, watch, and listen in the glade makes a great talking point about finding calm in nature.
