Dora and the Search for Sol Dorado

Movie · 2025

This is the Paramount+/Nickelodeon live-action Dora movie that dropped July 2, 2025, starring Samantha Lorraine as a teenage Dora on a jungle treasure hunt alongside Diego and new friends. It is a fun, warm adventure in the Indiana Jones mold, with genuinely positive messages about family and teamwork, but it trades the preschool cartoon's gentleness for real chase sequences, sword fights, booby traps, and a few jump scares that earn its PG rating.

Most comfortable for kids 7 and up; younger or sensitive children may need a grown-up right next to them for the cave and peril scenes.
