Clueless

Movie · 1995

A satirical Beverly Hills teen comedy loosely based on Jane Austen's Emma, following wealthy 16-year-old Cher as she plays matchmaker and navigates high school social life. Warm-hearted at its core, but the PG-13 rating is well-earned: sex talk, underage drinking and drug use, a sexual harassment scene, and a gunpoint mugging make this firmly a teen-and-up film.

Best suited for teens 13 and older who can appreciate both the comedy and its satirical wink at 90s materialism.
