Bedtime Stories with Ryan
This is exactly the Nick Jr. series that premiered March 2, 2026: Ryan Reynolds, in pajamas inside a whimsical Victorian dollhouse, reads two picture books per episode to a cozy audience of animal friends while the stories magically come to life around him. Content is overwhelmingly gentle, with the only things worth noting being occasional potty humor in the books themselves and very brief, verbal-only references to animals eating other animals.
A wonderful fit for toddlers and preschoolers ages 2 and up, and a genuinely relaxing co-view for tired grown-ups too.
Episodes to know about
Several episodes include a storybook with poop or fart humor read aloud by the host; expect giggles rather than anything upsetting.
Episode title and theme center on potty humor; content stays age-appropriate but is more concentrated here than in other episodes.
Some storybooks feature a character who runs away or is bullied; situations are low-stakes and warmly resolved within the same episode.
